A small woven artwork made to complement the statement pieces of Lionheart Canyon Studio’s 2022 summer collection, “The Earth’s Wild Bones Are Alive: a North Shore Collection.”

This woven wall hanging was made with sari silk ribbon, vintage lace, wool pencil roving and wool blend yarn.

The driftwood was foraged from Artist’s Point in Grand Marais, on the shore of Lake Superior. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly in paper and tied with twine.

This is considered a small wall hanging, perfect for displaying along with other pieces of artwork on a gallery wall or small space.

MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:

• 6” wide x 12” long — the width and length of the woven body and fringe.

• 8.5” wide x 14” long — the width of the wood, and the length of where the nail will be to the farthest tip of fringe.
