(Current Kate Note :: I've been working hard on my winter collection of weavings! Eight down and I'm planning to release the collection before Thanksgiving!)

I've had an enormously blessed privilege of connecting with a few real, authentic creatives recently. I unfortunately have yet to meet any of them in person, however I can tell that these ladies are total trailblazers: they have the sweetest and most golden hearts, and are massively encouraging for me and the work I do. I'm pulling up a chair at my table for each of them this evening and I'm inviting my readers (you!!) to sit down as well. I'm glad you're in my corner and I know you'll feel warm and welcome if you head over to theirs!

Danyelle Woods
This lady has the best energy and creates beautiful things about and from nature — including animal bones and bugs. I've gotten goosebumps from looking at her work because in many ways, we're on the same page. I can tell from her writing on Instagram that Danyelle cares deeply about the creative process and understands sacred qualities in connecting the hand with the soul. We've talked about collaborating and I so hope that can happen someday— it would be an honor to go foraging and make something together.

Gabbie Cook
Gabbie and I both took Hannah Brencher's Year of the Book writing course, and HB herself assigned us as writing accountability partners. I've read a little of Gabbie's writing and I can tell that there are similarities in our story and there's definitely a God reason for why we were paired together. Her writing is honest and beautiful, and so many of her words let me say a powerful "me too." We both have a spark in our souls to write a book, and she was kind enough to share her book's sentence summary with me. I won't say the sentence here but her book is going to be one that every lady should read — it's certainly a blessing to be walking this writing journey with her.

Laura Bernero
I was digitally introduced to Laura a few months ago through our mutual friend, Susanna (who is another beautiful soul, by the way), and her words have blessed me since. Her Instagram bio says, "Believer in grace, gratitude & gathering people around the table" and everything she posts on social media or blogs about absolutely breathes a welcoming spiritual comfort. I so wish we were real-life friends because I think sitting at a table with Laura, coffee in hand, would be the sweetest, most encouraging hour. She's working on a digital publication with a few friends called "Chasing the Light" with the mission of celebrating and encouraging bravery through creativity and I'm so eager to see a bunch of creative women coming together.

Find her on Instagram and please, please spend some time on her blog
