Each reclaimed ceramic animal was collected from a local thrift store, then sanded and hand painted with acrylic paint. The “Nurture Growth” duck was a part of my Junior Thesis Show in 2015, for the Hastings College Studio Art degree. These works were developed and created in a five month timeframe.

MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:

• 10” long x 4” wide x 7” tall. Measurements taken from widest/longest/tallest points.

• Weighs approximately 14 oz.

• Display suggestions — hung from the wall, as shown in the gallery photography. There is a hole located on the bottom of the duck, perfect for a nail. (LCS is not responsible for mishaps while installing the duck — installation suggestions will be sent along with the duck, to help)
