"The Red Rocks Are Breathing With You" Medium Weaving
Woven with Belgian wool roving and yarn. The wood was foraged from my hidden canyon in far western Kansas.
“The Red Rocks Are Breathing With You” is the exclusive early release from the upcoming “The Earth’s Wild Bones Feel More Alive Here” collection. This woven wall hanging was created first for this line of new work, and the rest of the weavings have taken on a different, more wild path. “The Red Rocks Are Breathing With You” acts as a bridge of sorts, between KATEWORKS’ ending and Lionheart Canyon Studio’s beginning.
MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:
10” wide x 27” long — the width and length of the woven body and fringe.
13” wide x 35” long — the width of the wood rod, and the length of where the nail will be to the farthest tip of fringe.
