“Autumnal Leaves” was handwoven in plein air throughout Junkstock weekend, and inspired by the multitude of autumn colors + the festival’s spirit.

This statement woven wall hanging was created with handspun art yarn, hand torn velvet, recycled sari silk ribbon, soft cotton cord, chiffon ribbon, dyed cotton frizz ribbon, wool roving and vintage art fabric.

The driftwood was foraged from Artist’s Point in Grand Marais, on the shore of Lake Superior. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly in paper and tied with twine.

This is considered a textural statement wall hanging, perfect for displaying over a couch or bed along with other pieces of artwork.
