An exploration of rich color and soft neutrals, sewn onto a handmade ceramic piece.

This small but statement wall hanging was made with heirloom quality vintage ribbon, cotton cord, wool roving, silver accented jute and a sari silk ribbon hanger.

I collaborated on this piece with Molly Watson, a ceramicist friend based in Portland, Oregon She handcrafted these unique ceramic pieces for me to use, and they’re such a beautiful complement to fiber! View more of Molly’s work here!

This is considered a small but statement wall hanging, perfect for displaying along with other pieces of artwork on a gallery wall or small space.

This piece will be wrapped carefully in several paper layers and tied with twine, with extra padding wrapped around to ensure safe delivery.

Please note: The ceramic element is fragile, and could break if dropped. Please handle with care and make sure to securely hang from the wall. Due to the unique, limited edition nature of ceramic, this piece cannot be replaced if broken at your home.

** In the case it does break at your home, you can mail the handwoven piece back to me and I will sew the weaving onto a foraged branch. Shipping both ways will be invoiced to you. Thanks for being careful!

MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:

• 4” wide x 12” long — the width and length of the woven body and fringe.

• 4.5” wide x 20” long — the width of the ceramic piece, and the length from the top of the silk hanger to the bottom of the fringe.
