The Market Collection was made to be displayed at Hutchfest 2021, an artist/maker fair featuring over 150 creative vendors. These weavings came together over many hours of market preparation over the span of two months, and formed a cohesive collection of knotted textures + a variation of muted/rich colors.

Featuring a rust red, burnt orange, golden, chocolate brown, mauve and cream color story.

This woven wall hanging was made with recycled sari silk, golden accented cotton frizz ribbon, Belgian wool roving, and wool pencil roving. The wood is foraged from a forest in eastern Nebraska. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly and tied with twine.

This is considered a small statement wall hanging, ideal for nestling among other pieces of artwork on a gallery wall (or on a narrower wall space).

MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:

• 7.5” wide x 20” long — the width and length of the woven body and fringe.

• 10” wide x 24” long — the width of the wood, and the length of where the nail will be to the farthest tip of fringe.
