This listing is for imperfect “seconds” prints — this means that there are slight imperfections on the print. Examples of these could be a small scratch in the ink, slightly too light or heavy inking, or smudges/specks. You will not be able to choose your seconds print, and yours could look different from the examples pictured in this listing. These are still beautiful pieces! Due to the handmade nature of these prints and minor imperfections, there will be variations between each one. Embrace this as the “hand of the artist.” Though these are reproductions, each one is truly an individual.

The image of Lionheart Canyon was carefully hand-carved by Kate Laing on a linocut block, then individually printed by hand with an oil-based professional artist grade ink. The paper edges were also hand-torn to create a deckled look.

You will be able to choose between two sizes — a 4x6 (without a border), or 5x7 (with a border). The seconds prints are all done on the lighter weight drawing paper.

Artist Kate Laing will sign each piece for authenticity. The back will be hand lettered with the “Lionheart Canyon” title, the first edition number, and the year.
