A smaller woven artwork made to complement the statement pieces of Lionheart Canyon Studio’s 2022 summer collection, “The Earth’s Wild Bones Are Alive: a North Shore Collection.”

This woven wall hanging was made with hand-dyed malabrigo wool roving, metallic cord, vintage lace, hand torn fabric, recycled sari silk ribbon, soft cotton cord, wool roving, wool art yarn, cotton frizz ribbon and wool roving.

The driftwood was foraged from Artist’s Point in Grand Marais, on the shore of Lake Superior. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly in paper and tied with twine.

This is considered a small statement wall hanging, perfect for displaying along with other pieces of artwork.

• 9” wide x 17” long — the width and length of the woven body and fringe.

• 12” wide x 20” long — the width of the wood, and the length of where the nail will be to the farthest tip of fringe.
