A collection of woven artwork made to complement the statement pieces of Lionheart Canyon Studio’s 2022 summer collection, “The Earth’s Wild Bones Are Alive: a North Shore Collection.”

This woven wall hanging was made with three different handspun art yarns, metallic cord, hand torn fabric, recycled sari silk ribbon, gold accent cotton frizz ribbon, soft cotton cord, wool roving, wool art yarn, and cotton frizz ribbon.

The driftwood was foraged from Artist’s Point in Grand Marais, on the shore of Lake Superior. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly in paper and tied with twine.

This is considered a medium statement wall hanging, perfect for displaying along with other pieces of artwork.

MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:

• 13” wide x 16” long — the width and length of the woven body and fringe.

• 20” wide x 20” long — the width of the wood, and the length of where the nail will be to the farthest tip of fringe.
